A truly amazing place that is not fully understood, but it was an honor to walk the grounds to try and grasp the history and beliefs of the Champa people. Incredible carvings and how beautifully the bricks (without mortar) are holding up through the centuries. Interspersed are bomb craters and rubble from the bombing when US forces tried to destroy Viet Cong hiding in the ancient ruins - a testament to the terrible consequences of war.

It took us about 3 hours of walking the trails to get there. Quite the variety of past and present remnants to stumble upon.

- ITINERARY -

8:00 AM- 8.30 AM: Pick you up at hotel in Hoi An and depart for Marble Mountains.

9:00 am: Explore Marble Mountain and visit the traditional marble carving village.

12.00 noon: Lunchtime.

1.30 PM: Depart to My Son sanctuary.

2.30 PM: Arrive at My Son and explore 2 hours.

What Champa dance show.

4.30 PM: Leaving My Son by minibus to the river and take boat to Hoi An.

5.15 PM: Enjoy the sunset sightseeing from the boat.

Relax with a Boat trip back to Hoi an. Enjoy Vietnamese snack.

6:00 PM: Arrive at Hoi An.

What to bring: Hats, sunblock, and sunglasses.

Note:
- Please take note that, we ONLY watch sunset on nice, sunny days. Sometimes, due to bad weather or monsoon or rainy days, we will NOT see the sunset
- There is a lot of walking involved at Marble Mountain (100 steps) so be prepared and make sure you are wearing comfy shoes because it can be really rocky and slippery there.
Lunch Menu:
- Vietnamese Caramelized Braised Pork.
- Papaya Salad.
- Banana.
